District Ringing Programme 2026

The current Ely District 2026 programme is:

3rd January ADM at Cottenham 14.30 ringing, 16.30 service, 17.15 proper tea, 17.45 Annual District Meeting

    Thu 15th Jan                    Join Fordham practice, 19.30-21.00, every other touch Stedman Triples

7th February - Oakington 10.30-12.30 followed by committee meeting in church hall. Tea and cake

    Mon 16th Feb                 Join Burwell practice, 19.30-21.00, every other touch Little Bob Major, PB8, PH8

14th March (note date) - Chippenham 14.30-15.30 and Fordham* 16.00 - 17.00 business meeting afterwards. Tea and biscuits

    Sat 21 Mar                      Grandsire Doubles workshop, 2-4pm, Stretham (tied bells)

11th April - Outing, organised by Phil Bailey, venue TBA

    Sat 18 Apr                       Treble Bob and Kent TB 6 workshop, Stretham, 14.00-16.00

    Sat 25 Apr                       Ely DA AGM in Wisbech District at Terrington St Clement’s

2nd May - Striking Competition at Landbeach 18.00 draw. All welcome from rounds only to methods. Two competitions. Scratch bands. Rules on website. Just turn up. Proper tea plus quiz

    Fri 8 May                           Join Ely practice, 19.30-21.00, every other touch Stedman Triples

    Sun 10 May                    Plain minor practice, Stretham, 19.00-20.30

6th June - Conington* 10.00, Fenstanton* 11.30-12.30am. No refreshments

    4th Jul                                      RWNYC competition at Nottingham

11th July - Wicken*, 19.00- 21.00 – Bring and share social event from 17.30. Plus handbell ringing. Doubles and minimus special

Sat 1st Aug - no usual meeting, but Plain Bob Doubles practice instead, Wilburton. 14.00-16.00.
