District Ringing Programme 2024

The Ely District Ringing Programme for 2024 was published at the ADM on 6 January and is reproduced below. Towers as yet unconfirmed are shown with an asterisk (*).  Any updates will be notified with as much notice as possible through Facebook, and the District mailing list.

The current programme is:

• 3 Feb Soham : Ringing 10:30 – 12:30.

• 9 Mar Wilburton: Ringing 15:00 – 17:00, followed by business meeting. Refreshments during ringing.

• 6 Apr Outing in Saffron Walden area: Arranged by Phil Bailey - contact billythebellringer_at_yahoo.co.uk to book your place.

• 4 May Association AGM to be held in Ely District. Ringing at Rampton from 12.30, Willingham from 13.45, and Swavesey from 14.45. Service at Swavesey 16.15. Tea in Swavesey Memorial Hall 17:00. AGM approx 18:00. 
  Interdistrict Striking Competition: Ringing at Over from 14:00pm. Draw 13.45.

• 8 Jun Oakington: Striking competition. Draw at 18:00. Refreshments  during competition. Rules of the competition are available here.

• 13 Jul Haddenham: Ringing 19:00 – 21:00.

• Aug No meeting

• 7 Sep Wicken: Ringing 19:00 – 21:00.

• 5 Oct Landbeach (*): Ringing 15:00– 17:00, followed by business meeting and refreshments.

• 2 Nov Longstanton (*): Ringing 10.30 – 12.30. Refreshments during ringing.

• 7 Dec Fordham: Ringing 15:00 – 17:00 pm. Refreshments afterwards.

• 4 Jan 2025 Chatteris (*): Ringing 15:00 – 17:00, followed by service, tea, and ADM at 18:15.

Ringing meetings, when arranged, will be shown on the Ely District calendar and the Ely DA calendar, which shows events for all districts in the Ely DA.
